Enthusiastically recommend this book
As a Coach with a successful consulting practice myself, I know that most professionals struggle with Marketing. Henry Devries offers a goldmine of strategies that will make an enormous difference in establishing your brand and ADVANCING your career and your earnings. No this is not the flippant advice of most how-to books. This offers a blue-print business model that if you adopt it – you will EARN more than you ever dreamed possible. I know this for a fact — I did it.
Henry gives away the recipe for rapid growth for experts’ business!
I am not an unbiased reader of Henry’s book. He and I co-authored “How to Close a Deal Like Warren Buffett” and he has been my editor on two other books. His contributions and insights on this topic in my own business have resulted in millions of dollars in revenue to my consulting company. I would not have to read the book to know that he is a master at this topic- I watched it work in my business. I what I love about this book is the step by step approach he takes at laying out is approach and experience. Any expert in his or her field can use this straightforward methodology to build a marketing model for building their business rapidly and 10-fold! There are lots of “fast path to riches” books on the market- but Henry’s book is not an idle claim with a few anecdotes. It is a road map with GPS coordinates to making your business explode!
Very insightful book from an expert in the area about using a book to ignite your consulting business
I met Henry about nine months ago at one of his small group seminars. I really enjoyed what he said and thought it was incredibly relevant as I was in the process of publishing my book, PLAN COMMIT WIN: 90 Days to Creating a Fundable Startup. Henry’s insights around story telling were super valuable and I bought his book. It was very easy to read and full of great insights and ideas for those that want to Indy publish their book, and use it as a “calling card” for their consulting business. I highly recommend this book. – Patrick Henry, CEO of QuestFusion.
This book is a game changer for anyone in professional services
Henry DeVries has done it again. He continues to share his wisdom and street-smart experience on how to write the right book. For a consultant or coach of any stripe, nothing will serve you better as a marketing tool than your book. It will shine a light on your expertise, provide you with credibility, position you as an expert and help you grow your business or practice. If you buy one book this year, make it this book. You will sell more books and more importantly, you will sell more of your services and do the good work you are called and compelled to do. And, if you get the chance to hear him speak, take advantage of it. You will be glad you did.
Science was never so much fun!
As the author of nine books that have been translated into six languages, I can firmly attest that the real value of a book is the spin off business it generates in terms of speaking, coaching and consulting. Read this book to learn how to systematically turn your ideas into a book that multiplies your marketing impact and your income.
A worthy and inspiring read for consultants looking to build their practice
With this book, Henry makes a strong case for completing something that I’ve been putting off for a long time. I’m a consultant in business development. I started writing my own book. I have 64 pages of great ideas, but I haven’t completed it. Henry has inspired me to finish it.
Must Read for consultants writing a book
This book makes you realize that just writing a book is not going to get you anywhere. You need strategy and a plan for he book to actually help your business. That said, with the strategy and plan a book is clearly one of the best ways to develop your position as an expert and build your brand and reputation. So glad I read this while still in the early stages of writing- it definitely saved me a lot of wasted time!
